My name is Rakshanda Rashid. A wildlife enthusiast, who had so far compromised her passion to fit into the standards of living set by society.
From being a Biotechnology student in high school to changing to a Business Management student, my passion for wildlife never left me. Where the rest of the world found pleasure in parties and hangouts, I found my peace amidst the wildlife and nature.
Growing up until now, I had many restrictions imposed on me from my family and the society I lived in. Sharing a very different view on freedom and openness, I had to try and adjust to pleasing everyone around. Being a girl from a family with traditional and conservative values, I was somewhere losing the track of my purpose of living. My dream of becoming a Wildlife Researcher and Conservationist seemed to have been left far behind.
While pursuing my MBA, I decided to do an online crash course on Photography, during which, I discovered my talent for capturing moments ... Wildlife Moments. I then decided to follow my passion for wildlife with a little feat of technology, doing Wildlife Photography.
Gradually, I moved to micro-blogging on Instagram. Now, I have finally, through this website, chosen to spread around the world for those who can't speak and give my photography a platform.
